Comic Life 2.0.7 for Mac Released

Comic Life 2.0.7 for Mac update is now available! This 2.0.7 update has various stability improvements and fixes.

plasq.com puchasers of Comic Life 2, please update from within Comic Life 2 or from our downloads page.

 

Users that have purchased Comic Life 2 from the Mac App Store - can obtain the update through the "Updates" section in the Mac App Store.

 

Upgrade pricing is available for registered Comic Life 1.x Standard and Deluxe users.

    can you save as to PDF file or how do you share with another person without the Comic Life program on their computer?

    If a person orders the 4 computer use how do you get it installed on other than the download computer?

    @George #1 - You can save as a PDF. Go to: File > Export > Export to PDF... You can also export out as an image from the same File > Export menu.

    @George #2 - You are sent download and serial instructions, which you use on up to 5 computers in the same household. The serial is loaded with the ability to use on up to 5 computer.

    Hi no question that you have a superb program but on my windows 7 it is the slowest program on my system. Almost any action means I have a delay of 5-10 sec before doing anything else. The ipad2 version works as expected. I have a trial version on windows 7 but before I could consider buying I would need to see an update that fixes these issues. I appreciate that you main concern seems to be the Mac but there are still a large number of windows users who would like the program

    Hi James. Only a few users seems to have this issue - and we think it might be related to a video driver/hardware compatibility issue. Try the following:

    Please go to View > Options... > WYSIWYG image filtering - un-ticking this box and starting a new comic to see if it speeds things up?

    If not, please wait for Comic Life 2 for Windows and please let us know if you have any issues. Thanks!

    The keep files external just doesnt work! My comiclife doc is 900mb! Inside the package is all the images ever imported. Relly Comiclife should update images like Indesign rather than having to repeatedly import them everytime you alter the image in Photoshop. Will this be fixed?

    Hi DARRYL, if you have the "Keep images external to the document" checked - it will only work for when you create a New Document. Try creating a new document and give it a try ... when you update the image in photoshop make sure the name is exactly the same and in the same place, then right click on image click "Refresh Image". Hope this helps!
